Jamshedpur, Dec 16: Activists of All India Mahila Sanskritik Sangathan (AIMSS), a women outfit today
demonstrated at the DC office for over an hour and their delegation later submitted a memorandum to the East
Singhbhum deputy commis- sioner Amitabh Kaushal demanding safety for women.
The members claimed that spots near Jamshedpur Women’s College (Bistupur), Telco square and Aam Bagan which
has large number of coaching institutions do not have police presence.
The outfit members also wanted administration to deputy policemen on regular patrolling at popular picnic
spots, especially in view of rush of picnickers during this time of the year.
The members earlier in the day took out a rally from Aam Bagan in Sakchi carrying placards.
