Jamshedpur, Feb. 26: No one is above the party and those who work against the party will be expelled. Naming Pradeep Balmuchu and Banna Gupta, Dr. Ajoy Kumar, former MP and national spokesperson of the party, said that if Rajya Sabha MP and the former minister had any issues they must have discussed the matter in a closed room and raised the issue in the party forum.
�For the 2019 Assembly elections in Jharkhand, Congress president Sonia Gandhi has special focus on the Kolhan region and she will not tolerate any indiscipline,� said Kumar.
Talking about the upcoming Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Adityapur, Dr. Ajoy advised Ragubar Das to open the cradle in Jamshedpur city instead of the adjoining district.
The Congress leader slammed the Raghubar Das-led BJP government at all fronts. Terming Prime Minister Narendra Modi as guru and Raghubar Das as chela, he said, �The duo is expert on making announcements, but nothing has been done on the ground level.�
Talking about the Jamshedpur�s bottom 10 ranking in recent Swach Bharat survey, Dr. Ajoy said leave aside the whole state, CM who is from Jamshedpur should at least see to it that Steel city improves its ranking and make it clean.
When asked about the anti-encroachment drive in the city, former Jamshedpur MP said, the government and administration should first make arrangements for rehabilitation for the people then only desolate them.
�Through the recent eviction drive, the Das government is benefiting the Tata Steel, instead of giving ownership rights to 86 bustees. The CM is desolating the people of other areas too now. He added, �The eviction drive outside the MGM hospital which removed several eatery kiosks is just to benefit the BJP activist who has got the tender rights of running the canteen inside the MGM Hospital premises.�
On the issue of anti-nationals, former IPS officer said, �Take action according to law and punish the individuals responsible for anti-India slogans, but to use the JNU row to deflect attention from the real issues is wrong.�
The former MP further said the much publicized �no fare hike� in the rail budget is contrary to the newly introduced practice of increasing passenger fare at intervals in time during the fiscal year.
�In the last two years about 20 percent fare has been increased with 16 percent in 2014 and 4 percent in 2015,� said Dr Kumar referring to the increase in the platform ticket cost and ticket cancellation charges, among other measures that impinged on passenger�s pocket.
