Potka: Thirty six toppers of six high schools of Potka were felicitated at a function held on the school premises of Shankar Da High School on Wednesday.
The guests of the occasion included Zila Parishad member from Potka Pratima Rani Mandal, former Zila Parishad member Karunamaya Mandal and the block education expansion officer of Potka Murari Shahi. They praised the toppers and asked them to keep up their performances in the future.
Murari Shahi asked the students to be disciplined and work hard with a strong will power to succeed in life.
The toppers belonged to the high schools in Rajdoha, Domjuri, Gitilata, Tirildih, Shankarda and Asanbani. They included Champai Murmu, Laxmi Priya, Jayanti Bhakta, Amit Murmu and Rupesh Manda.
Former Zila Parishad member announced to give Rs 1000 to the topper from Gitilata, Maya Hembram, as motivation.
