35-year-old man murdered at Burmamines

Jamshedpur : In yet another case of heinous crime, a 35-year-old man was suspected to have been murdered at his in-laws’ house in Kanchan Nagar under Burmamines area today.

The victim, identified as Om Prakash Ram was a truck driver and was found near the toilet of the house. The family members rushed him to Tinplate Hospital , but was referred to Tata Main Hospital, where he was declared as brought dead.

The man had severe marks of head injuries and marks of strangulation in the neck. The police have seized the body and sent the body to the MGM medical College mortuary for post-mortem.

Officer-in-charge, Burmamines police station, Mohan Pandey confirmed that it is a suspected case of murder. ” We are investigating the incident however, we have found enough marks that suggest that the victim Om Prakash Ram has been murdered.

The kind of injury on the head and marks of deep wound suggest murder,” said the officer-in-charge.

According to the officer-in-charge, the victim’s inlaws have claimed that Om Prakash had sustained injuries after fell down on the floor near the toilet.
