Jamshedpur, April 27: Students of Narayana IIT Academy, Sakchi put up an excellent performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2017.
The results for the JEE (Mains), which was held on April 2, were announced on Thursday, April 27. Director of Narayana Jamshedpur centre, Shyam Bhusan said, 229 students of the academy have attained success and have qualified for the JEE Advanced 2017.
He further said that 43 students of the institute have secured All India Rank (AIR) under 20 thousand while 102 students stood under 50 thousand AIR. Binay Prakash Barla of Narayana IIT Academy scored 149th AIR in ST category while Aditya Singh scored 177 rank in the PD category.
Yogesh Kothari of the academy scored AIR 193 with 310 marks out of the total 360, Tarush Agarwal with AIR 377 scored 298 marks. Third on the list was Raju Vardhan with AIR 958 (133 category wise) scored 276 marks.
Shreyas Seth with 261 marks stood AIR 1629 while Rishabh Seth with AIR 1633 scored 261 points.
