Hemant launches campaign for KCC distribution at block level
Ranchi, June 23: If farmers prosper, then our state will prosper. In order to enrich the farmers of the state, the state government has brought Birsa Kisan Samman Yojana. The government has made this scheme in the name of farmers. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said this in the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) distribution function under the divisional level Birsa Kisan Samman Samman organized in Latehar on Thursday.
Soren said that their government priority is welfare of farmers and saving land of villagers.
“In the last five months around 1.25 lakh farmers have got Rs.1313 crore loans through KCC in the state. On Thursday, over 10 lakh farmers will be linked with KCC loans at each blocks of the state. We will organize such programs in camp mode and aim at doubling income of farmers. The government wants to protect land of farmers,” said Soren.
Chief minister also mentioned that in the last two decades in Jharkhand only Rs 400 Crore loan were sanctioned but in two and half year of governance they have approved loan waiver of Rs 900 Crore for farmers.
The chief minister said that our country is known as agricultural. In recent times, the central government oppressed the farmers and brought the Black farm laws. But, the farmers with their agitation forced the central government to change that law. He said that the previous government of Raghubar Das gave the name of Chief Minister Ashirwad Yojana. Can we bless Annadata? No, that’s why our government has renamed it Birsa Kisan Yojana. With this scheme, a target has been set to advance the farmers across the state.
The central government is throwing youth into the fire with the help of the Agnipath recruitment scheme
“The Central government has just thrown the youth of the country into the fire by bringing Agnipath recruitment scheme. The central government has also sold airplanes, railway stations to private sectors. There is a need to beware of such people. In the state, the previous government had sent the youth to Israel and taught the tricks of farming. Where they are today is not known,” said Soren.
“The previous government had talked about setting up power plants and industries in the name of state land acquisition, but the traders took the land of the farmers, but power plants and industries were not set up. Today crores of rupees of banks are with the traders and the farmer’s land has also gone. At present there is a government of poor, tribal, backward and minorities, which is talking about your development. You can directly improve your standard of living by taking benefit of Sarvajan Pension Yojana, Chief Minister Livestock Scheme, Chief Minister Employment Scheme. During this, the CM presented KCC checks to many beneficiaries.
